This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Manage and refresh GIS fiber network information utilizing ArcGIS Pro and QGIS, integrating field audits, as-built documents, and construction plans.
• Digitize and modify vector data to adhere to project-specific criteria and guarantee spatial precision.
• Develop basic network maps and reports for the planning, permitting, and engineering stages.
• Adapt and refine geospatial data from public resources and various formats to suit project requirements.
• Utilize geoprocessing tools and conduct QC/QA assessments to verify data integrity and topological accuracy.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and GIS teams to meet deadlines while upholding JSI standards.
• Over 3 years of experience in GIS.
• A certificate or degree in GIS, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
