German-English Medical Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver verbal interpretation services between patients and healthcare providers.

• Precisely interpret medical discussions, encompassing patient history, diagnoses, treatment alternatives, and instructions.

• Aid in translating medical documents and forms.

• Uphold confidentiality and comply with professional and ethical standards.

• Remain informed about medical terminology and procedures.

• Foster rapport and build trust with patients and healthcare professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both English and German (spoken and written).

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.

• Exceptional verbal communication skills, capable of adapting to various dialects and accents.

• Excellent listening and comprehension abilities.

• Highly professional and empathetic attitude.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

• Capacity to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

• Intel Core i5 processor (8th generation or newer) or Ryzen 5 (3000 series or higher).

• Minimum of 4 cores / 8 threads.

• 8–16 GB RAM.

• 256 GB SSD or larger.

• Mandatory wired Ethernet connection.

• VPN use is prohibited; work must be conducted solely from the approved location.

• Wired headset with a boom microphone, unidirectional, and equipped with noise cancellation.

• 1080p camera resolution, 30–60 fps, with autofocus.
