Geosteering Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Interpret the exploration and production (E&P) drilling process.

• Collaborate with a high-performance operations team and customers to meet well objectives before and during drilling.

• Execute multiple wellbore target adjustments across various projects accurately and punctually.

• Offer exceptional technical guidance to clients regarding current and upcoming projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Geosteering is essential.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with Star Steer software is required.

• A proven track record of excellent client communication skills.

• Remarkable attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-demand work environment.

• Willingness to work in a collaborative team setting while taking responsibility for individual work performance.

• Capability to make multiple wellbore target changes on different projects in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and punctuality.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

• Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel.

• Comprehensive understanding of well site drilling operations.

• Experience and knowledge across multiple basins.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to work both collaboratively and independently.

• Open to receiving mentorship and constructive feedback from colleagues.

• Proficient in multi-tasking.

• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to varying workloads.
