This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as the technical advocate during the sales process. Conduct discovery and scoping discussions, comprehend the client's deposit model and objectives, and create a survey package (magnetics, radiometrics, LiDAR, SAEM, and more) that addresses their inquiries.
• Connect sales with operations. Collaborate closely with our project managers, geophysicists, and processing teams to ensure alignment between what we sell, what we execute, and what we deliver, ensuring every client interaction is handled by someone knowledgeable in the science.
• Elevate the quality of deliverables. Examine final products with a geologist's perspective before they reach the client, ensuring a connection between the exploration challenge we were hired to address and the data we provide.
• Influence future developments. Relay client needs back into the business to directly impact upcoming product advancements, our survey methodologies, and the AI-driven interpretation platform we are building to transform raw geophysics into actionable exploration insights.
• Take ownership of your pipeline. Manage the entire cycle of prospecting, qualification, proposals, forecasting, negotiation, and handoff — maintaining accurate CRM records and providing transparent pipeline visibility.
• Represent Rosor within the industry. Participate in conferences and client meetings, cultivate a network among junior and senior professionals, and gather market and competitor intelligence.
• A qualified geoscientist. P.Geo. designation (or eligibility) or a background in professional geophysics.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in exploration geology, geophysics, or a closely related geoscience field to engage effectively in technical discussions with a VP of Exploration.
• Skilled at translation. Capable of taking technical capabilities and articulating, in straightforward terms, their significance to clients.
• Client-focused. Excellent communicator and presenter, well-organized, adept at managing multiple opportunities simultaneously, and self-motivated in a remote work environment.
• Open to travel. Required for conferences and client meetings. A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Previous experience in technical sales, business development, or consulting.
• Knowledge of airborne or UAV geophysics and contemporary data acquisition methods.
