Geólogo/a Senior – Exploraciones

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Responsible for designing and contributing to the definition, operational control, and execution of exploration tasks and activities for projects at all stages of the pipeline.

• Additionally, contributing to the identification and evaluation of new exploration opportunities while generating new projects.

• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, community relations, and governance standards.

• Aiming to support the achievement of economically viable discoveries of gold, copper, and gold-copper deposits that have a significant impact on the Company's growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering.

• A postgraduate degree is desirable.

• At least 8 years of experience in exploration.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership roles.

• Experience in gold-copper explorations.

• Knowledge of types of hydrothermal alteration and distribution-zoning in epithermal gold-silver deposits, copper-gold porphyries, and copper-molybdenum.

• Strong understanding of conceptual geological models for epithermal gold-silver deposits and copper-gold, copper-molybdenum porphyries.

• Proficiency in software such as Leapfrog, ArcGIS Pro, and IoGas. Familiarity with geophysical methods and their applicability, such as CSAMT, IP-resistivity, among others.

• Knowledge of safety, health, environmental, and community standards.

• Advanced English proficiency (oral and written).

• Driver's license required.

• Willingness to work in the field and on a shift basis.
