This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Develop a strategy for sustainable organic growth that emphasizes financial performance, customer retention, and the acquisition and development of talent.
• Set, oversee, and assess sales objectives and targets that are in line with the national practice and regional strategy.
• Inspire, mentor, and energize the sales teams with a steadfast focus on revenue enhancement.
• Collaborate with national, market, and local leadership to continuously evaluate and pinpoint both immediate and long-term recruitment needs, as well as strategies to retain top talent.
• Build and sustain a pipeline of potential candidates in conjunction with the talent acquisition team.
• Recognize opportunities for growth and formulate strategies for improvement in the geography, including sourcing new business, potential acquisitions, community outreach, carrier partnerships, and industry networking.
• Work alongside national, market, and local leadership to routinely assess the sales team’s proficiency in sales techniques, insurance coverage knowledge, company capabilities, carrier products, and technological expertise.
• Design and execute training programs for both new and existing sales team members, while providing guidance and feedback to enhance performance through measurable targets and ensuring uniform execution across the organization.
• Continuously analyze and assess performance and outcomes within the scope of responsibility, preparing regular reports that compare actual results to established goals; take necessary actions to ensure goal attainment.
• Foster strong relationships with carrier partners to benefit the business by optimizing products and services.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in sales and leadership.
• In-depth technical knowledge of all relevant lines of insurance coverage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Risk Management, Insurance, or Business Administration (preferred).
• Active Producer Insurance license in good standing.
