General Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Responsible for maintaining equipment through troubleshooting, repair, cleaning, and upkeep of gasoline-related machinery.

• Conducts preventive maintenance tasks.

• Tests leak detection systems and product pipelines.

• Coordinates repairs by liaising with service vendors for necessary materials.

• Ensures a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Manages cash registers, money order machines, and safes by diagnosing issues and reprogramming equipment as needed.

• Promotes teamwork by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing requirements.

• Maintains a conducive working atmosphere by installing, repairing, and servicing HVAC systems.

• Prepares equipment, systems, and facilities for operation by completing preventive maintenance schedules.

• Restores and repairs malfunctioning or inoperative HVAC systems and related equipment.

• Undertakes repairs and replacements for doors, plumbing, and tiles.

• Performs painting tasks.

• Suggests modifications and new installations for HVAC systems.

• Maintains gas pumps by replacing nozzles, hoses, splash guards, filters, and display boards.

• Ensures equipment functionality by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining systems like walk-in coolers, novelty freezers, refrigerators, and fountains.

• Contributes to team efforts by achieving related results as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance sector.

• Must possess manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, utilize hand/electric carts, and operate power and hand tools; required to crouch and/or crawl, use a ladder, and lift up to 80 lbs.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and must be able to work independently in a high-priority, confidential, and demanding business setting.
