This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.
• Oversee the daily operations of assigned location(s) directly.
• Address local business matters such as growth opportunities, customer concerns, employee inquiries, and facility issues.
• Handle the hiring and training processes for direct reports.
• Conduct interviews, complete job performance reviews, and serve as a mentor for direct reports.
• Establish and evaluate professional development objectives for direct reports.
• Ensure that staff remains motivated and productive.
• Collaborate with the assigned Senior Management to define business strategy and growth objectives.
• Capable of estimating and quoting projects and jobs that satisfy both customer and company expectations.
• Foster and sustain relationships with internal and external customers, as well as vendors.
• Ensure completion of month-end activities and timely submission of reports as per company schedule.
• Manage the location budget and optimize expenses; oversee location P&L to align with company expectations.
• Provide leadership to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and other criteria.
• Review jobs to confirm they meet or exceed profitability targets.
• Collaborate with assigned Senior Management to promote continuous improvement and implement strategic business initiatives.
• Participate in management meetings regarding business matters and facilitate employee meetings to provide direction and share company information.
• Prepare various reports, including management reports and weekly scheduling reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of ten years of experience in an operations role within the Electrical Services Industry.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a servant leadership approach.
• Experience working with unions is a plus.
• Proven ability to exceed budgets and achieve financial forecasts.
• Strong team management skills that promote customer satisfaction and a robust company culture.
• Experience managing a remote team is desirable.
• Knowledge of HSEQ, DOT, OSHA compliance, and a record of maintaining excellent safety standards.
• Proven project management capabilities.
• Commitment to financial and operational success and integrity.
• Strong sales abilities.
• Skilled in navigating complex sales situations and emphasizing value over price.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to coordinate multiple team efforts within the company to achieve objectives.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvements.
