This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive delivery and execution roadmap for the sovereign satellite product line on a global scale, ensuring a seamless transition of programs from design and development to production, launch, and delivery.
• Lead delivery accountability across the global partner network; serve as a key decision-maker regarding delivery schedules, backlog prioritization, and resource distribution in collaboration with technical teams.
• Create the cross-functional structure, KPIs, and operational frameworks essential for developing the sovereign satellite business into a high-performing, standalone product line on an international level.
• Connect the GTM teams with engineering and constellation build teams to establish a cohesive, cross-functional delivery mechanism.
• Formulate and implement the global GTM strategy, market segmentation, route-to-market, and strategic prioritization across all major international regions.
• Develop, operationalize, and refine intricate commercial models (e.g., subscription capacity, tasking-as-a-service, tiered access, and enterprise/sovereign bundles) tailored for international defense and civil ministries.
• Create institutional hunting playbooks, capture strategies, and standardized pricing tools.
• Collaborate directly with the company’s ELT and Regional Sales VPs globally as the executive commercial lead to devise, position, and finalize high-value, complex sovereign projects.
• Convert intricate technical satellite capabilities, payload specifications, and orbital mechanics into high-value commercial propositions and strong business cases worldwide.
• Design and implement in-country industrial participation, technology transfer, and offset programs to fulfill stringent country-specific contracting, regulatory, and licensing requirements globally.
• Establish strategic alliances and nurture local industrial/technology ecosystems to enhance international adoption and meet sovereign ownership frameworks.
• Manage end-to-end operational planning, which includes hardware production, launch integration, on-orbit commissioning, and training for local operators.
• Extensive experience in a GM, Business Unit Leader, or Senior Director position overseeing complex, high-value product lines or strategic business units within the satellite, aerospace, defense, or space industries with a clear international focus.
• Proven success not only in closing deals but also in managing the entire lifecycle of launching, commercializing, and delivering a new satellite constellation, Earth Observation product, SAR Product, or spatial intelligence platform on a global scale.
• Strong foundational knowledge of satellite and aerospace technologies combined with an expert-level understanding of the global GEOINT market, international competitive landscape, and EO and SAR value chains.
• In-depth understanding of international government procurement, military/civil buying cycles, EXIM limitations, and national security licensing/regulations across various regions.
• Demonstrated experience in designing sophisticated pricing structures, managing P&L dynamics, and creating data-driven GTM forecasts.
• Exceptional communication skills with a history of acting as a trusted advisor to senior government officials, defense ministries, and global C-suite executives.
• Willingness to travel extensively internationally as necessary to support key pursuits and global partner evaluations.
