General Manager – Category Expansion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the business strategy and roadmap for Emerging Verticals.

• Utilize domain expertise and input from stakeholders to prioritize and allocate resources, including the launch of new products.

• Coordinate, develop, and implement essential cross-functional initiatives and objectives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing and expediting the development of new categories.

• Conduct thorough analyses to identify value drivers, areas for improvement, and opportunities within Emerging Verticals.

• Establish and uphold the annual budget and long-term planning for the vertical.

• Foster a motivating environment for cross-functional teamwork.

• Identify, manage, execute, and assess new projects that drive efficiencies and/or business growth.

• Provide structured leadership for open-ended initiatives and unstructured challenges.

• Influence the organization to secure internal support for key initiatives.

• Carry out additional assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of overall experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in insurance, banking, and/or credit card marketplaces.

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Experience with P&L ownership is preferred.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

• Highly analytical, strategic, and creative thinker with robust business acumen.

• Proficient in financial and operational modeling.

• Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to develop and deliver engaging presentations and facilitate efficient, productive meetings.

• Strong operational and strategic experience, ideally in a rapidly growing company.

• Proven ability and track record of achieving business results in a collaborative, cross-functional setting.
