General Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Identify strategies to minimize dependence on external legal counsel in a buy & build framework.

• Balance the need for speed with legal risk management in a fast-paced environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of relevant experience at a prestigious law firm (M&A/Corporate) or as in-house counsel in a high-energy setting.

• Fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) or equivalent international qualification with an outstanding academic background.

• Strong M&A experience.

• Preference for candidates with a background in buy & build scenarios.

• You exhibit gravitas and possess excellent negotiation abilities.

• You maintain a robust international network of experts in pertinent legal areas (especially corporate and M&A law).

• Pragmatic, adaptable, and demonstrate a proactive approach.

• Comfortable working autonomously, establishing your own systems, and taking ownership without extensive support teams.

• Business-level proficiency in German and English is required; knowledge of Spanish, Italian, and French is advantageous.
