• Offer primary legal assistance in contracting and commercial transactions, along with associated areas for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Human Resources (HR), Business Development/Sales, customer relations, Technology, Operations, compliance, data privacy, procurement, and facilities functions.
• Enhance efficiencies and capabilities in legal support by utilizing both internal and external resources as needed.
• Actively identify opportunities to assist the business by collaborating on key initiatives, including risk identification and management.
• Supervise commercial dispute resolution and litigation processes, which includes managing external counsel.
• Create and revise standard contracting policies, guidelines, and template language.
• Aid in the development and implementation of contract management and document management technology tools.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and Juris Doctor degree.
• Active membership in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar or at least one State Bar, with the ability to obtain the necessary In-House Counsel and/or Authorized House Counsel status as required.
• At least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, preferably with major law firms and in-house corporate legal departments.
• Proven track record in contracting, negotiation, drafting, compliance, information technology, and general commercial matters.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and management skills.
