• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate a diverse array of commercial agreements, such as SaaS/software licensing, partnerships, and supplier contracts.
• Serve as a primary legal contact for business stakeholders, offering clear, pragmatic, and commercially oriented advice.
• Assume responsibility for legal support in assigned business areas.
• Recognize and implement enhancements to legal processes, workflows, and operational methods.
• Create and sustain contract templates, playbooks, and internal guidelines.
• Work in collaboration with a multi-jurisdictional legal team.
• Oversee external counsel and assist with disputes as necessary.
• Keep abreast of pertinent legal and regulatory changes within the gaming and technology sectors.
• Assist with strategic business initiatives, including the development of new products.
• 4-6 years of PQE (post qualification experience) as a solicitor, advocate, or equivalent is required.
• Solid foundation in commercial and contract law.
• Experience within the gaming or software development industries is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Capability to work autonomously, take initiative, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in enhancing legal processes, templates, or methodologies is highly preferred.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• Capacity to provide practical, business-oriented advice in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong skills in relationship building and the ability to work efficiently across various jurisdictions and cultures.
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset along with an interest in the gaming and technology sectors.
• Familiarity with legal technology tools (e.g., CLM systems, document automation) is advantageous.
• Interest in utilizing AI and legal technology to enhance legal service delivery and efficiency is desirable.
