General Adjuster / Associate General Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• The ideal candidate for the General Adjuster position will strategize, recommend, reserve, and carry out the investigation, valuation, resolution, and settlement of significant Commercial Insurance property claims.

• Strive to ensure fair, equitable, and prompt claim resolutions while accurately evaluating the indemnity and expense exposure of assigned claims.

• Report to a Property Major Case Manager and collaborate within a team setting.

• May have the opportunity to mentor Associate General Adjusters and Property Damage Adjusters.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a full file Claim Adjuster for complex property losses exceeding $500,000 in value.

• Field experience in performing on-site inspections and estimating property damage.

• Strong functional knowledge of commercial claims, with the ability to accurately interpret and apply insurance coverage.

• A college degree or equivalent experience is required.

• A consistent track record of high performance and achievement throughout your career.

• Proficiency in cost estimation, preferably using Xactimate, along with essential computer skills.

• A solid understanding of regional jurisdictional issues.

• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to operate independently.

• Availability for nationwide catastrophe operations as needed.

• Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e., Excel, Teams, Word).
