GCP Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as one of two security engineers on forthcoming projects.

• Leverage Google Cloud Platform security expertise for client initiatives.

• Utilize GCP Security and Cloud Identity frameworks effectively.

• Implement and oversee GCP security services such as Cloud Armor, Cloud Firewall, VPC SC, IAP, and Cloud DNS security.

• Employ Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Work with Linux/Unix and scripting languages like Python or Bash.

• Travel to client locations, mainly across Europe.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrable professional experience with Google Cloud Platform.

• Proven expertise in Google Cloud Security and Cloud Identity frameworks.

• Strong familiarity with GCP security services: Cloud Armor, Cloud Firewall, VPC Service Controls (VPC SC), Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP), and Cloud DNS security.

• Significant experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.

• Proficient in Linux/Unix and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

• Strong command of English communication.

• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of GCP networking services is preferred: VPC, Subnets, Routing, Peering, Interconnect, VPN.
