GCP Developer – Medicare Reporting and Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.

📋 Description

• Convert documented business and functional requirements into technical designs, data processing logic, reporting solutions, and data pipelines.

• Design, construct, improve, and sustain data pipelines and processing solutions utilizing GCP and BigQuery.

• Create SQL-based transformations and processes for data delivery.

• Develop and maintain EDM delivery, DAG-based orchestration, and TIDAL scheduling.

• Establish and uphold automated data and reporting solutions to meet Medicare program requirements.

• Analyze both source and target data, define processing logic, and guarantee accurate transformation and delivery.

• Facilitate vendor integrations and manage cross-platform data ingress and egress.

• Conduct unit testing, technical validation, and data validation.

• Investigate defects, processing failures, and data inconsistencies; perform root-cause analysis and implement necessary corrections.

• Provide technical support throughout quality assurance and user acceptance testing phases.

• Oversee assigned deliverables and development priorities until completion.

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, QA, data teams, application teams, and other stakeholders involved in delivery.

• Act as a subject matter expert on processing logic, data flows, dependencies, and technical functionalities.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Assist with implementation, production processing, ongoing maintenance, and troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.

• Proficient in developing and supporting intricate data pipelines, including data transformation, orchestration, scheduling, and delivery.

• Experienced in supporting production data pipelines, focusing on troubleshooting processing failures, data quality concerns, and upstream/downstream dependencies.

• Familiarity with EDM-based data delivery processes.

• Knowledge of DAG-based workflow orchestration in a cloud data environment.

• Expertise in TIDAL scheduling, including job dependencies, execution sequencing, and scheduled processing.

• Experience in developing or supporting vendor integrations and cross-platform data ingress and egress processes.

• Background in supporting Medicare or other healthcare programs.

• Experience in developing solutions that facilitate operational, regulatory, statutory, or compliance reporting.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Strong communication skills, both professionally and effectively, as a technical subject matter expert.

• Ability to independently manage assigned deliverables and meet set deadlines.
