Games Service Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Designs, develops, and troubleshoots game services utilizing mathematical models and specification documents.

• Engages in all phases of the game service development lifecycle, from gathering requirements in collaboration with Mathematicians to service design and implementation, providing support to client developers, conducting QA service testing, and working with compliance and production teams.

• Enhances efficiency through automation, optimizing workflows, and system improvements.

• Stays updated with emerging technologies and offers recommendations to the team.

• Works alongside QA and delivery team members to ensure that game services and associated components are thoroughly tested, properly installed, and maintained to high standards.

• Advocates for high coding standards within the team.

• Sustains and improves existing product code.

• Actively engages in the agile scrum process.

• Configures, sets up, and oversees development, testing, and staging environments.

• Identifies and resolves performance issues.

• Manages version control using Git-based platforms.

• Generates JIRA tasks and independently manages their workload.

• Assumes full responsibility for their game development duties to guarantee timely deliveries.

• Must be self-organized with minimal supervision.

• Performs additional tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in creating slot games.

• Proven experience in implementing game math models on the server side.

• Collaborated with client developers and QA teams to provide support for game services.

• Capable of creating API documentation for client developers and the QA team.

• Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly when necessary.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git (e.g., BitBucket, GitHub).

• **Preferred:**

• Demonstrated proficiency in all facets of C#, .NET, Visual Studio, and related technologies.

• Solid understanding of OOP principles, MVC, and other design methodologies.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, preferably with Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with PowerShell, Shell Scripts, or NodeJS for developing helper tools.

• Enthusiastic about creating highly optimized, high-performance game services and systems.

• Involved in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
