Game Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Engages in the development and evaluation of innovative game designs, including new themes and concepts for electronic gaming slot machines.

• Assesses game software throughout the development process to ensure that gameplay and all game components are of exceptional quality.

• Generates and maintains all necessary documentation and files for game development and submission to external regulatory bodies.

• Serves as the comprehensive project manager for numerous slot games, overseeing the process from initiation to finalization.

• Tracks and communicates project status and overall health to stakeholders.

• Leads a team of professionals across various disciplines (art, animation, software engineering), fostering motivation and engagement through recognition, conflict resolution, and relationship building.

• Organizes, facilitates, and records team meetings to monitor project statuses.

• Prioritizes tasks and assigns responsibilities using JIRA and other project management tools.

• Regularly plays the team’s games during development to confirm that functionality and production quality align with the game’s design specifications and departmental standards.

• Collaborates with fellow game producers and designers to pinpoint common challenges and communicate the status and resolutions of those issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• **Must have over 5 years of experience specifically in slot game design and development.**

• Proven experience in mathematics or quality assurance.
