Game Design Curriculum Developer – Unity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Transform Florida's game design CTE standards into engaging student lessons.

• Develop in-engine activities within Endstar for Game & Simulation Foundations and Game & Simulation Design courses.

• Create lessons, assessments, and teacher guides that align with Florida's curriculum frameworks.

• Design Unity bridge lessons to prepare students for Unity Certified User exams.

• Produce brief screen-capture tutorials for classroom implementation.

• Convey the needs of teachers and students to the platform team.

• Complete compensated Endstar onboarding, which includes training, a walkthrough led by a CTE product expert, and the creation of a short game.

• There is potential for ongoing engagement through spring 2027.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience teaching high school game design, game programming, or game art.

• Proficiency in Unity with the capability to teach it to the Unity Certified User standard.

• Developed curriculum or lessons utilized by other educators.

• Availability to commit 15 to 20 hours per week until the end of 2026.

• Ideal candidate will have experience with Florida CTE.

• Familiarity with Florida’s game design curriculum frameworks or students who have successfully passed Unity or Certiport exams.

• Possession of a Unity certification, experience with Lua or visual scripting, Blender, or familiarity with Roblox, Minecraft Education, or Endstar.

• Background as a CTE lead teacher, coordinator, or administrator.

• Include a brief overview of qualifications and one example of a unit or lesson authored.
