Future Student Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Serve as the representative for Torrens University Australia at schools, career fairs, information sessions, and student engagement events throughout the designated North Queensland region.

• Establish and sustain relationships with career advisors, educators, school administrators, and other key contacts.

• Conduct captivating presentations regarding study pathways.

• Recognize recruitment opportunities and cultivate potential student leads.

• Support prospective students and transform inquiries into applications and enrolments.

• Strive to meet recruitment objectives.

• Ensure accurate records for schools, leads, and students are maintained within Salesforce.

• Prioritize follow-ups and track recruitment activities.

• Collaborate with admissions, enrolments, marketing, and student recruitment teams.

• Oversee the territory, develop the sales pipeline, and facilitate a seamless student experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in sales, business development, student recruitment, account management, or a similar target-driven position.

• Ability to confidently build relationships with schools, stakeholders, students, and their families.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Capacity to engage and influence a variety of audiences.

• Proactive mindset in generating leads, pursuing opportunities, and reaching conversion goals.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Keen attention to detail when managing student records, applications, and supporting admissions processes.

• Resilience, initiative, and a genuine commitment to aiding students in achieving their educational aspirations.

• Experience in higher education or VET admissions is advantageous.

• A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
