Fusion Engineer – Acoustics & Image Processing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will create an innovative localization product that incorporates a learned map architecture.

• You will design and develop visual and acoustic sensor systems for detecting drones.

• You will build a multi-sensor perception and fusion system for the early-warning drone detection system.

• You will design, construct, and maintain scalable models, deploying model inference directly onto drone detection devices.

• You will implement scalable intelligence solutions with low-latency capabilities.

• In collaboration with ML, MLOps, and DevOps teams, you will facilitate fast and secure deployment processes.

• You will supervise systems, resolve faults, and continually enhance observability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT (e.g., engineering).

• At least 2 years of full-time professional experience as a Fusion Engineer, preferably with an emphasis on acoustics.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the IoT sector.

• Proficient in Python and familiar with relevant frameworks.

• Solid experience with the Embedded Linux ecosystem.

• Some foundational experience with cloud technologies.

• Experience working for the same employer for no less than 2 consecutive years.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in any additional language is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel for field trials 2–3 days per quarter.

• Ideally, you have experience with fleet data, Bash, Golang, C/C++, MLOps, and DevOps.
