
Fusion Engineer β Acoustics & Image Processing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ You will create an innovative localization product that incorporates a learned map architecture.
β’ You will design and develop visual and acoustic sensor systems for detecting drones.
β’ You will build a multi-sensor perception and fusion system for the early-warning drone detection system.
β’ You will design, construct, and maintain scalable models, deploying model inference directly onto drone detection devices.
β’ You will implement scalable intelligence solutions with low-latency capabilities.
β’ In collaboration with ML, MLOps, and DevOps teams, you will facilitate fast and secure deployment processes.
β’ You will supervise systems, resolve faults, and continually enhance observability.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT (e.g., engineering).
β’ At least 2 years of full-time professional experience as a Fusion Engineer, preferably with an emphasis on acoustics.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the IoT sector.
β’ Proficient in Python and familiar with relevant frameworks.
β’ Solid experience with the Embedded Linux ecosystem.
β’ Some foundational experience with cloud technologies.
β’ Experience working for the same employer for no less than 2 consecutive years.
β’ Fluent in English; proficiency in any additional language is advantageous.
β’ Willingness to travel for field trials 2β3 days per quarter.
β’ Ideally, you have experience with fleet data, Bash, Golang, C/C++, MLOps, and DevOps.
