Functional Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and CapEx management teams to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.

• Create user stories and acceptance criteria for the backlog as prioritized by the Product Owner.

• Map and elaborate business processes concerning the management of activity codes, quantities, and unit rates during the FEL2 and FEL3 phases.

• Assist in the functional validation of integrations with 3D engineering models and BIM platforms (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud - ACC), ensuring compliance of extracted quantities with business rules.

• Conduct functional acceptance testing (UAT) for squad deliverables.

• Document business rules, functional processes, and user support materials.

• Provide functional assistance for the operation of the solution and support for business users.

• Engage in agile ceremonies including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and ongoing backlog refinement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related disciplines.

• Proven experience in functional analysis and requirements gathering within agile projects.

• Understanding of CAPEX estimating processes, along with activity codes, quantities, and unit rates.

• Familiarity with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) principles and 3D engineering models.

• Experience with BIM model management platforms, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

• Prior involvement in capital (CAPEX) projects within industries such as oil & gas, mining, or energy.

• Familiarity with the PPM Ecosys system or comparable portfolio management tools.
