This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy for families, individuals, and groups dealing with eating disorders and related diagnoses in a telehealth environment.
• Implement Family-Based Therapy (FBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), CBT for Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and other evidence-based interventions throughout different stages of life.
• Manage a caseload of 30-40 patients, allocating 20-26 hours for direct patient care while dedicating the remaining time to administrative duties.
• Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders.
• Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, patient and family mentors, as well as external providers.
• Utilize between-session messaging and engage with the treatment team via Equip's electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, supervision sessions, departmental gatherings, and ongoing training opportunities.
• Maintain licensure in your home state and acquire additional state licenses as necessary.
• Ensure 30 hours per week of availability for direct patient care.
• Attend mandatory meetings and provide care until 8 PM on two evenings each week.
• Execute other assigned tasks as needed.
• Possess an active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Massachusetts.
• Capability to support patients across all age groups, including those with co-occurring conditions, diverse backgrounds, and varying levels of acuity.
• Strong commitment to evidence-based care and treatment methodologies.
• Availability to provide care two evenings per week until 8 PM in the primary time zone of the patient caseload.
• Proficient in delivering care safely and effectively in a virtual setting.
• Energetic and collaborative team player.
• Deep passion for mental health, eating disorder treatment, and enhancing access to care.
• Commitment to providing 30 hours per week for direct patient care.
• Willingness to commit to at least 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 PM during the week (3 PM in Mountain Standard Time).
• Attendance at mandatory meetings is required.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from a mental health counseling/therapy program accredited by CACREP, COAMFTE, CSWE, MPCAC, or a similar accrediting organization.
• Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment and/or intensive treatment environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Background in supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in case management and/or working within a multidisciplinary care team is preferred but not mandatory.
• Access to reliable internet and a private workspace for remote work is essential.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
