Fullstack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and create cloud-native applications and microservices that are integrated with AI.

• Incorporate AI/ML functionalities into geospatial applications utilizing enterprise AI platforms and LLM APIs.

• Play a role in developing autonomous features for validating data quality, conducting spatial analysis, and automating workflows.

• Develop serverless services and RESTful APIs tailored for geospatial data.

• Implement security measures, multi-tenant isolation, and compliance protocols for AI-driven features.

• Embrace AI-enhanced software development methodologies, such as AI-augmented code reviews and intelligent DevOps practices.

• Integrate enterprise GIS platforms along with spatial data processing capabilities.

• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by applying infrastructure-as-code principles.

• Engage in code reviews and assist in establishing best engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

• Over 3 years of experience in full-stack web application development.

• Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, along with TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Experience in backend development using Node.js, Python, or a similar language.

• Practical experience with at least one cloud platform, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Skills in designing and utilizing RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing concepts.

• Knowledge of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.

• Experience in writing automated tests and considering tests as part of the definition of done.

• Comfort with version control systems, collaborative development, and agile methodologies.
