This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +4 more countries.
• Design, develop, and sustain scalable enterprise web applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and design teams to define, architect, and deliver impactful web features within an Agile framework.
• Perform peer code reviews to guarantee code quality, security, maintainability, and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Provide mentorship to team members on both business and technical concepts.
• Create thorough unit and integration tests.
• Detect system bottlenecks and ensure high application performance and responsiveness.
• Implement sophisticated state management.
• Update backend APIs.
• Raise engineering standards through technical mentorship and peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across LATAM and international client projects.
• Over 5 years of practical professional experience as a Full Stack Web Developer working on enterprise web applications.
• Extensive expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with complex state management and single-page applications (SPAs).
• Strong background in Node.js frameworks like Express.js or Hapi.js.
• Familiarity with RESTful API architecture.
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Practical experience in writing unit and integration tests using Jest, Chai, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of Tailwind, Material UI, or Bootstrap.
• Experience with Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on work experience.
• Preferred: extensive experience with React, Redux, Jest, Azure SQL, and MongoDB.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Preferred: experience with SAP/BTP integrations.
• Ability to work with at least a 6-hour overlap with US Central Time business hours.
• Proficiency in English for interviews, technical documentation, daily team meetings, and operational communications.
• 100% remote contractor position.
