Fullstack Developer, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance full-stack applications utilizing Kotlin/Java along with contemporary front-end technologies.

• Develop and sustain scalable, secure, and high-performance REST APIs.

• Create and refine user interfaces with an emphasis on usability, performance, and user satisfaction.

• Architect and execute asynchronous integrations employing Kafka, AWS SQS, or RabbitMQ.

• Engage in the advancement of microservices architecture and distributed applications.

• Produce automated unit and integration tests for both back-end and front-end systems.

• Focus on modeling, managing, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.

• Implement and oversee database migration processes using tools like Liquibase, Flyway, or similar.

• Monitor and troubleshoot applications utilizing observability tools, logs, and distributed tracing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to outline technical and functional solutions.

• Take part in code reviews, backlog refinement, and architectural discussions.

• Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines and the adoption of best practices in software engineering.

• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of applications.

• Further the evolution of a microservices-based architecture.

• Implement system integrations through messaging solutions.

• Guarantee software quality by means of automated testing.

• Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database performance.

• Maintain safe processes for versioning and database migrations.

• Oversee production applications and help identify and resolve any issues.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define technical solutions.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of architecture, code quality, and development processes.

• Support the evolution of integration and continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD).

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in backend development using Kotlin and/or Java 17+

• Proficiency in Spring Boot

• Expertise in REST API development

• Familiarity with microservices architecture

• Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL

• Skills in query and index optimization

• Experience with automated testing (unit and integration)

• Understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Design Patterns

• Proficiency in Liquibase, Flyway, or similar tools

• Experience in messaging with Kafka, AWS SQS, or RabbitMQ

• Familiarity with observability tools (logs, tracing, and troubleshooting)

• Knowledge of Dynatrace, Datadog, Sentry, or equivalent tools

• Proficiency in Docker

• Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools

• Frontend experience with React and TypeScript

• Knowledge in single-page application (SPA) development

• Ability to consume REST APIs

• Competency in state management and componentization

• Experience with automated frontend testing

• Awareness of responsive design and user experience

• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar
