Fullstack Developer – Backend Focus

📋 Description

• Create and implement shared backend services and APIs utilized by product teams.

• Collaborate with product teams and business stakeholders to pinpoint platform constraints and provide enhancements that impact users.

• Develop and maintain robust, dependable systems with a strong emphasis on accuracy.

• Produce clean, maintainable, high-quality code throughout the entire stack.

• Perform code reviews and contribute to the pursuit of technical excellence.

• Engage in system design, technology-stack decisions, and define platform boundaries collaboratively.

• Enhance systems for scalability, performance, and ease of maintenance.

• Steer the technical direction on significant initiatives such as migrations and platform capabilities.

• Provide mentorship to team members.

• Enhance processes, tools, and team practices through collaboration and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in a software engineering role with a pronounced backend focus.

• Proficient in working within a modern React/TypeScript codebase.

• Familiarity with functional programming concepts or languages.

• Strong grasp of type systems, composition, testing, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture principles.

• Capability to convert business challenges into precise requirements, specifications, and code.

• Knowledge of Golang, React/TypeScript, Python, ML models, MySQL, F#, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and GitHub CI/CD.

• Understanding of distributed systems, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure is advantageous.

• Experience with ERP systems, finance, procurement, or supply chain processes is a plus.

• Background in platform, infrastructure, or developer experience teams is a plus.

• Experience with large-scale migrations or gradual modernization is a plus.

• Proficiency in the German language is a plus.
