This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Develop, update, and sustain responsive websites and landing pages.
• Construct websites utilizing Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, Divi, or comparable builders.
• Tailor WordPress themes, child themes, templates, and plugins to meet specific needs.
• Execute website customizations using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Set up and troubleshoot WooCommerce stores, covering products, payment gateways, shipping tools, and integrations.
• Oversee website hosting, including cPanel, WHM, databases, PHP configurations, SSL certificates, DNS records, domains, email delivery issues, and server setups.
• Conduct website migrations, backups, staging deployments, domain alterations, and production releases.
• Diagnose and resolve plugin conflicts, theme issues, hosting, database, DNS, SSL, performance, and email delivery problems.
• Integrate websites with third-party platforms via plugins, APIs, webhooks, or technical documentation.
• Enhance websites for mobile responsiveness, browser compatibility, speed, security, accessibility, and fundamental SEO.
• Evaluate website functionality prior to launch.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, content specialists, and developers.
• Adhere to internal workflows, documentation, QA checklists, and project timelines.
• Address maintenance requests across various client websites.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional website development experience.
• Significant experience with self-hosted WordPress websites.
• Proficient in Elementor and WPBakery.
• Familiarity with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience in customizing themes, child themes, templates, and plugins.
• Background in WooCommerce setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing cPanel, Liquid Web, or similar hosting control panels.
• Solid understanding of domains, DNS records, SSL certificates, databases, PHP versions, email records, and server configurations.
• Experience in website migrations, backups, staging environments, and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with payment, shipping, CRM, inventory, tax, or basic email marketing integrations.
• Ability to troubleshoot website errors, plugin conflicts, layout issues, performance challenges, and hosting-related problems.
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser testing.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to accurately follow designs and instructions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
• Capacity to work independently, identify obstacles, and pose relevant technical questions.
• Experience with Shopify or Wix is advantageous.
• Fully Remote.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with required availability between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
