Full Stack Web Developer – PST/EST/CST Timezone

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable web applications for both front-end and back-end environments.

• Convert wireframes, mockups, and functional specifications into high-quality, maintainable code.

• Create modern, responsive user interfaces utilizing React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.

• Develop back-end services and RESTful APIs leveraging Node.js and Express.

• Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, focusing on schema design and query development.

• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including Stripe, OpenAI, and various authentication providers.

• Implement background job processing through BullMQ/Redis and manage CSV and Excel data imports/exports.

• Optimize applications to enhance speed, scalability, and overall performance.

• Apply testing protocols, CI/CD workflows, and best practices in version control.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack and with external services.

• Maintain thorough documentation to facilitate future scalability.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams, iterating based on customer feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack web development.

• Strong command of TypeScript/JavaScript and React frameworks.

• Back-end development experience using Node.js and Express.

• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases.

• Experience in building and consuming REST APIs.

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deployment workflows utilizing Docker.

• Strong skills in Git and version control practices.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a lean, fast-paced team.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Preference for candidates available during PST hours.

• Experience in early-stage startups or with MVP development.

• Familiarity with AI integration (OpenAI or similar APIs, basic prompt engineering) or chatbot interfaces.

• Experience with Supabase, Stripe, BullMQ/Redis, and web scraping tools.

• Understanding of the client's industry is a plus.
