Full Stack Web Developer – PST/EST/CST Timezone

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications for both front end and back end.

• Convert wireframes, mockups, and functional specifications into high-quality code.

• Create responsive, contemporary user interfaces utilizing React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.

• Build back-end services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.

• Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, focusing on schema design and query development.

• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including Stripe, OpenAI, and authentication providers.

• Implement background job processing with BullMQ/Redis and manage CSV and Excel data imports/exports.

• Enhance applications for speed, scalability, and performance.

• Apply testing, CI/CD workflows, and best practices in version control.

• Troubleshoot and debug across the entire stack and with external services.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation to support future scalability.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams, iterating on customer feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in full-stack web development.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and React.

• Back-end development experience with Node.js and Express.

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases.

• Experience in building and consuming REST APIs.

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deployment workflows using Docker.

• Strong skills in Git and version control.

• Capable of working independently and within a lean, fast-paced team.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Preference for PST hours.

• Experience in early-stage startups or with MVP development.

• Knowledge of AI integration (OpenAI or similar APIs, basic prompt engineering) or chatbot interfaces.

• Familiarity with Supabase, Stripe, BullMQ/Redis, and web scraping tools.

• Understanding of the client's industry.
