Full Stack Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• Develop an OCR pipeline that retrieves structured data from images and documents into a secure database.

• Enhance the existing prototype for scalability and dependability without unnecessary rewrites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience delivering production-level React and Node.js applications.

• A portfolio showcasing deployed web applications — please include links along with a brief description of your contributions and what you developed.

• Proven expertise in security — encompassing authentication (OAuth2/JWT), input validation, rate limiting, secrets/environment management, encryption both at rest and in transit, awareness of OWASP Top 10, and a solid understanding of how applications may be compromised.

• Practical experience with OCR and document data extraction (preferably with Tesseract).

• Strong foundational knowledge in backend development — including API design, PostgreSQL data modeling, and asynchronous job processing.

• Understanding of scaling principles — including caching (Redis), queuing, and horizontal scaling.

• Proficient with Vercel and Railway, along with modern CI/CD practices.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
