Full-Stack Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in and actively participate in comprehensive product development across the full stack, encompassing back-end services and APIs as well as front-end experiences and templates.

• Develop scalable features utilizing extensive datasets, transforming intricate legal information into clear, valuable, and customer-oriented product experiences.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to convert requirements into thoughtful, dependable, and well-executed applications.

• Assess incoming technical issues, bugs, and product requests, assisting the team in prioritizing tasks effectively to maintain focus.

• Oversee and support engineers through regular one-on-one meetings, feedback sessions, coaching, career development, and project direction.

• Work together with back-end, data science, and R&D engineers on large-scale data projects, system enhancements, and product launches.

• Offer technical leadership throughout projects, aiding in the definition of implementation strategies, reviewing methodologies, and ensuring adherence to high engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional full-stack engineering experience, with a proven history of building and deploying production software.

• Experience in guiding engineers through complex projects, whether serving as a tech lead, engineering manager, or hands-on team leader.

• Proficient in Python, along with a working knowledge of a Python web framework; experience with Django is advantageous.

• Strong grasp of API architecture, front-end JavaScript frameworks, and development of server-rendered/front-end templates.

• Capability to translate product and design specifications into clean, scalable, and maintainable applications.

• Excellent judgment in balancing technical quality, product requirements, team capacity, and delivery schedules.

• Ability to manage both technical execution and leadership responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
