This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Diagnose prior to development: Assess customer needs and program goals to reveal the core issue, rather than just addressing the specified request, and create solutions that align with mission requirements.
β’ Architect throughout the entire stack: Develop comprehensive solutions β from data modeling to API integration to user interface β that are scalable, maintainable, and suitable for large, complex government projects.
β’ Utilize agentic AI as a productivity enhancer: Employ advanced agentic AI tools to quickly prototype, extend, and integrate new features into existing codebases, minimizing the gap between concept and functional system.
β’ Tackle high-impact, ambiguous challenges: Contribute swiftly and significantly to strategically important projects, often entering programs with incomplete specifications and organizing them into a coherent technical strategy.
β’ Bridge different domains: Work collaboratively with development teams, stakeholders, and technical leaders to pinpoint issues in current systems, suggest innovative solutions, and foster agreement on the appropriate architecture.
β’ Navigate fluidly across various programs: Move effortlessly between projects, applying technical and design insights to focus on the initiatives with the greatest impact.
β’ Complete the feedback loop: Enable integrations, address technical issues, and meet development schedules within cross-functional teams.
β’ Develop with a mission focus, not just task completion: Ensure adherence to security standards, government regulations, and industry best practices throughout all projects.
β’ Amplify your impact through thorough documentation: Record technical solutions, design justifications, and architectural choices for knowledge sharing between teams and projects.
β’ Validate the design beyond the code: Perform comprehensive testing to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of updated or newly designed systems.
β’ Secret clearance is mandatory.
β’ 3β5 years of experience in full-stack development within a production setting.
β’ Proven solutions-oriented mindset: Ability to translate vague requirements into technical designs or architectures, rather than merely executing predefined tasks.
β’ Familiarity with agentic AI coding tools: Demonstrated skill in utilizing tools to enhance existing codebases at scale.
β’ Established full-stack development experience: At least 3β5 years of developing, maintaining, and enhancing both front-end and back-end systems.
β’ Proficient in a minimum of one back-end programming language (Python preferred) and one front-end framework/tool (TypeScript preferred).
β’ Experience in designing and utilizing RESTful APIs for system integration.
β’ Strong foundational knowledge of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
β’ Comfortable working in agile environments and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
β’ Proficient in version control: Git (GitLab preferred).
β’ Experience with testing, security, DevSecOps, and CI/CD methodologies.
β’ Excellent communication and persuasive skills: Capable of presenting a technical solution to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and articulating the rationale behind an architecture, not just the implementation details.
