This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of the comprehensive systems architecture for a scalable and resilient data ingestion pipeline that integrates edge and cloud technologies, utilizing Redis, RabbitMQ, and custom services.
β’ Provide leadership and mentorship to both frontend and backend engineers, guiding technical decisions, conducting code reviews, and establishing best practices along with thorough documentation.
β’ Spearhead full-stack systems design choices across distributed data flows, message queuing, API architecture, data models, and the structure of UI components.
β’ Lead a development team empowered by AI, ensuring the establishment of guardrails, validation layers, end-to-end testing, and supportive systems for safe and reliable AI-assisted outputs.
β’ Decompose product and design requirements into clear, well-defined engineering tasks and allocate these tasks throughout the team.
β’ Create intuitive and responsive front-end experiences utilizing React and contemporary component libraries.
β’ Develop secure back-end services using C# / .NET, incorporating REST APIs, modular design, and Entity Framework.
β’ Collaborate with design, product, DevSecOps, and field teams to swiftly and securely launch features.
β’ Propel rapid prototyping while upholding production-grade coding standards.
β’ Advocate for automated testing and implement code quality gates through unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
β’ Diagnose bugs, resolve performance issues, and assist in meeting FedRAMP and IL5 deployment requirements.
β’ Over 6 years of relevant software engineering experience, including prior leadership or mentoring roles for engineers.
β’ Proven ownership of systems architecture and design for distributed, scalable systems.
β’ Practical experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or similar message brokers, as well as custom service development.
β’ Experience in leading an AI-enabled development team, managing guardrails, validation, end-to-end testing, and support systems.
β’ Full-stack capabilities across both frontend and backend technologies.
β’ Strong skills in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
β’ Proficient in C# and modern .NET technologies, with experience in Entity Framework and relational databases.
β’ Knowledge of SQL, indexing, query optimization, dependency injection, async/await patterns, and LINQ.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of systems design, REST APIs, state management, asynchronous data fetching, and event-driven messaging.
β’ Familiarity with Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, as well as automated validation and end-to-end testing methodologies.
β’ Ability to convert product and design requirements into well-defined engineering tasks.
β’ Awareness of secure software development practices and CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions or GitLab.
β’ Comfortable leading in Agile or Lean environments.
β’ Must be a US Citizen with the capability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
β’ Active Secret or TS clearance is preferred.
β’ Bonus: Experience in secure government environments, logistics/supply chain/asset tracking applications, Security+, AWS Developer/Architect certifications, or experience in startup/rapid-growth settings.
