Full Stack Software Engineer – Product, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain modern full-stack applications.

• Create scalable backend systems, APIs, and integrations utilizing Python and TypeScript.

• Develop high-performance, user-friendly frontend applications employing contemporary web technologies.

• Build features and solutions for client platforms as well as Chiri's internal products.

• Contribute to AI-driven applications, integrations, automations, and platform capabilities.

• Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Engage in architecture discussions and partake in system design decisions.

• Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, and client teams to provide high-quality solutions.

• Enhance application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong expertise in Python and/or TypeScript within production environments.

• Professional experience in building backend services, APIs, and integrations.

• Experience in developing frontend applications using React, Next.js, or similar modern frameworks.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

• Experience with Docker and containerized application development.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.

• Proven experience owning features from design through deployment and ongoing support.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating in a remote environment.

• Experience in developing SaaS products or customer-facing software platforms.

• Background in startup or high-growth environments.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or comparable databases.

• Proficiency in integrating third-party systems, APIs, and business applications.

• Exposure to AI-driven applications, LLMs, automation workflows, or agent-based systems.

• Experience in participating in customer meetings, requirements gathering, or solution design discussions.

• Demonstrated success in delivering measurable business outcomes through technology.

• Experience in mentoring engineers or contributing to technical decision-making.
