Full-Stack Software Engineer, Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage the implementation of changes across Pebble’s mobile application, web platforms, and backend systems, overseeing the technical strategy, execution, testing, release, and monitoring in production.

• Detect and address bottlenecks in the onboarding, activation, monetization, and retention processes.

• Transform growth potential into targeted experimental initiatives.

• Set up event tracking and success metrics, utilizing the results to scale, revise, or discontinue experiments.

• Enhance experimentation frameworks, which include feature controls and analytics integrations.

• Optimize subscription and payment processes.

• Collaborate with product, growth, design, and data teams.

• Contribute to the evolution of Pebble’s growth-engineering practices across different system layers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in building, releasing, and maintaining production software.

• Generalist skills with in-depth knowledge in at least one area: mobile, web, or backend.

• Practical experience in at least one additional area among mobile, web, or backend.

• Capacity to take ownership of changes across various system boundaries.

• Hands-on experience in implementing, measuring, and refining at least one product or funnel enhancement.

• Solid foundational knowledge in APIs, data modeling, testing, debugging, release procedures, and production monitoring.

• Direct experience in mobile-app growth is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Flutter/Dart, TypeScript/NestJS, MongoDB, or similar technologies.

• Experience with App Store or Google Play subscriptions is a significant advantage.

• No formal degree required; a relevant degree is preferred.
