Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and construct full-stack systems utilizing contemporary frontend frameworks (React / TypeScript), distributed backend services (Python, Go, Node.js), cloud-native infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP), and API layers (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).

• Take ownership of the complete technical design for platform functionalities such as workflow engines, multi-tenant SaaS offerings, event-driven pipelines, and applications for operators.

• Recognize patentable inventions emerging from platform architecture, including innovative data flow patterns, system interaction models, and methods for process automation, and document them meticulously.

• Write invention disclosures, assist with prior art research, and collaborate with both internal and external patent attorneys throughout the drafting and prosecution of applications.

• Set and uphold engineering standards concerning code quality, system observability, security posture, CI/CD practices, and API design conventions throughout the engineering organization.

• Lead cross-functional technical evaluations, coordinate with product and data science teams on integration points, and translate business needs into scalable system architectures.

• Guide decisions regarding build-vs-buy-vs-partner for platform components; assess third-party technologies against long-term intellectual property and architectural strategies.

• Implement systems that fulfill enterprise SLA requirements, including high availability, disaster recovery, role-based access control, audit logging, and adherence to regulatory compliance.

• Spearhead the architectural transition from isolated applications to a decentralized, federated service model by designing a unified API gateway and access layers that facilitate cross-system queries and interoperability without necessitating monolithic data consolidation; establish patterns for the gradual decomposition of legacy silo systems into composable, independently deployable platform services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years at a comparable senior individual contributor level.

• Proven track record in architecting and delivering production-quality distributed platforms within cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Strong expertise across the technology stack: modern JavaScript/TypeScript (React or similar), Python or Go backends, relational and NoSQL databases, and containerization technologies (Kubernetes / Docker).

• Demonstrated involvement with intellectual property, including invention disclosures, prior art analysis, or direct participation in patent application drafting.

• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly in writing, which is essential for effective patent documentation.

• Strong capability in system design: API design, microservices decomposition, event-driven architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization at scale.

• Experience in managing technical roadmaps and influencing engineering direction without formal authority.
