This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Play a key role in developing new features, from initial architectural decisions to a market-ready product, by driving innovative solutions and utilizing the latest technologies.
• Work in collaboration with team members to enhance and maintain existing features through defect resolution and continuous refactoring aimed at modernizing the technical stack and simplifying overall architecture.
• Serve as a Frontend expert, applying extensive knowledge in React and Redux to provide the team with valuable insights, enhancements, and recommendations on best practices for frontend coding.
• Design efficient database schemas for new projects or contribute to the enhancement of existing schemas.
• Collaborate closely with product management, designers, and QA to identify user requirements and translate them into reliable and user-friendly features.
• Promote code quality by writing well-structured, architecturally sound code and unit tests, adhering to best practices in the industry.
• Actively drive AI-led enhancements across our technology stack, documentation, tools, and organizational processes.
• Continuously refactor and optimize code to enhance efficiency, code health, and to reduce complexity.
• Bachelor’s Degree - Master’s Degree in Computer Science along with at least 2 years of relevant experience in full-stack development in a SaaS environment using Agile methodologies.
• A minimum of 2 years experience with Javascript/Typescript.
• Familiarity with, or a strong interest in, AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot) to expedite coding, testing, and code review processes.
• Strong expertise in React.
• Experience in building a RESTful API, or even better, a GraphQL API.
• Background in working with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake) for the creation and optimization of data pipelines, or similar experience with search engines like ElasticSearch.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and lifecycle management (partitioning, indexing/clustering, schema evolution) in large-scale distributed data systems.
• A bright, energetic, and highly motivated self-starter with experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Ability to adapt, estimate workload, decompose tasks into logical steps, resolve issues, pursue self-improvement, and propose new improvement strategies.
• A commitment to the long-term maintainability of the codebase and advocacy for refactoring and clean-up when necessary.
• Last but certainly not least: fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
