This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop and sustain applications using Java 8 or newer.
• Construct, integrate, and manage RESTful APIs utilizing Spring Boot.
• Engage in the maintenance and enhancement of legacy systems built with Java, JSF, and PrimeFaces.
• Consume and integrate web services, external APIs, and corporate services.
• Implement both monolithic applications and architectures based on microservices.
• Create front-end interfaces and components using React.js, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSF, and PrimeFaces.
• Manage data persistence with JPA and Hibernate.
• Enforce authentication and authorization protocols using JWT and Spring Security.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation for APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Engage in analysis, development, testing, debugging, and solution support.
• Write unit and integration tests to enhance code quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and implement best practices for development, architecture, and security.
• Collaborate with product, QA, infrastructure, and other related teams.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and solutions.
• Assist in the deployment and operation of applications in cloud environments, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related areas (Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar).
• Proficiency in Java 8 or above.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Background in developing RESTful APIs, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with EJB, Swagger/OpenAPI, JWT, and Spring Security.
• Understanding of API Gateway concepts and Eureka Server.
• Knowledge of both monolithic and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with React.js, Angular, JSF, and PrimeFaces.
• Experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of TDD and development best practices.
• Experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, Jest, and Docker.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ and Kafka.
