Full-Stack Java Developer, IRS MBI Clearance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and test secure, high-quality software solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code that meets project specifications.

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to ideate and implement new features.

• Engage in the complete development lifecycle, from design through to deployment.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing software applications.

• Assist in deploying applications to production environments.

• Participate in daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies.

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Manage multiple tasks while contributing to collaborative problem-solving efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of software development experience; more experience may compensate for a lack of a degree.

• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed.

• Active IRS MBI clearance with IRS GFE (Public Trust).

• Strong experience in Java backend development, including knowledge of design patterns and best practices.

• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.

• Front-end experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience in building and documenting APIs; familiarity with Swagger is a plus.

• Exposure to Java, Node.js, Python, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or OpenShift.

• Familiarity with Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus IQ, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.

• Experience with ICCE and eServices is considered an advantage.

• Strong communication and time-management skills.

• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
