This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead, recruit, and nurture a team of 4–7 senior engineers across the complete GTM AI systems stack, establishing a high standard for technical excellence, collaboration, and project delivery.
• Remain actively involved: contribute to system architecture, engage in code and design reviews, collaborate with engineers on intricate challenges, and make key technical decisions for the team's most significant systems.
• Take ownership of the engineering roadmap for GTM AI systems by collaborating with Sales Ops, BizTech, Finance, Legal, and GTM leadership to prioritize tasks, define milestones, and communicate updates.
• Propel the delivery of AI-first GTM systems including agentic AI pipelines, LLM orchestration layers, Salesforce CPQ integrations, real-time Slack applications, and AWS event-driven architectures.
• Advocate for engineering excellence by establishing and maintaining standards for code review, testing, observability (distributed tracing, alerting, SLAs), incident response, and documentation.
• Foster a culture of responsible AI development by ensuring the team adheres to safe data handling practices, maintains audit trails, and incorporates human-in-the-loop controls from the outset.
• Oversee team well-being by conducting effective one-on-ones, providing timely and constructive feedback, removing obstacles for engineers, resolving conflicts, and representing your team's interests within the broader organization.
• Identify and eliminate systemic sources of friction in GTM workflows, transforming repetitive manual processes into automated and self-sustaining systems that scale with the business.
• Act as a technical authority in cross-functional discussions, representing the engineering team’s viewpoint to VP- and C-level GTM stakeholders.
• Over 8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in an engineering management or tech lead position with direct reports.
• Strong technical expertise in Python (production services, async processing, LLM integration) and TypeScript/JavaScript (React, Node.js).
• Practical experience with the Salesforce platform: REST/Bulk/Streaming APIs, SOQL, CPQ/Steelbrick, platform events, and flow automation.
• Solid knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, SQS/SNS/EventBridge, API Gateway, S3, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch, IAM, and multi-account patterns.
• Experience in building and deploying LLM-powered systems utilizing OpenAI API, Anthropic API, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives involving multiple engineers: crafting design documents, conducting design reviews, and establishing engineering standards.
• A history of effective people management, including hiring, performance development, and fostering an inclusive team culture.
• Strong cross-functional communication abilities, capable of translating engineering decisions for non-technical business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Flexible, employee-led remote work model.
• Professional development stipend.
• Comprehensive health and parental leave plans.
