Full-Stack Engineer – Forward Deployed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Customer Engagement – Immerse yourself within customer teams to gain insights into their business objectives, domain limitations, and technical needs.

• Solution Architecture & Development – Design and construct comprehensive solutions using an experiment-driven, iterative methodology (TypeScript/React, Node.js, Python, ROS, SQL).

• Project Scoping & Planning – Create detailed scopes of work, establish timelines, and define success metrics for projects ranging from proofs-of-concept to full production implementations.

• Hands-On Implementation – Collaborate directly with customer engineers, deploying solutions in their cloud or on-premises environments to ensure effective adoption.

• Cross-Departmental Coordination – Work closely with Sales and Customer Success on shared accounts to provide cohesive experiences and achieve measurable results.

• Product Insight Feedback Loop – Share frontline observations with Research, Product, and Engineering; your insights will influence our strategic roadmap.

• Internal Knowledge Sharing – Document best practices, contribute to internal resource libraries, and mentor upcoming FDEs to facilitate efficient function scaling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience with contemporary full-stack technologies (TypeScript/Node.js, React, Python).

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Robotics or Autonomous systems.

• Background in customer-facing engineering roles, ideally with a focus on robotics or autonomy.

• Demonstrated ability in rapid prototyping and iterative project delivery involving external stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of network and cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and database-driven REST APIs.

• Proficient in building across the technology stack — from data pipelines and APIs to the user interfaces utilized by engineers daily.

• Capable of taking ownership of problems from start to finish, identifying gaps, and conveying technical information clearly to diverse audiences.

• Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site with clients as needed.
