This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

• Design, develop, and implement catalog features from start to finish.

• Create APIs, business logic, data models, and UI components using React.

• Engage in initiatives aimed at modernizing the platform.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools for programming and test automation.

• Write and uphold automated tests.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams.

• Modernize and enhance a critical product catalog platform.

• Take ownership of tasks from backend services to frontend applications, APIs, and relational databases.

• 7–10+ years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in backend technologies such as C#/.NET, Go, Python, or Java.

• Familiarity with React or another modern frontend framework.

• Experience in REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

• Experience with CI/CD practices and automated testing.

• Proficient with AI-assisted development tools.

• Practical experience using specific AI tools in workflows, including Cursor for brownfield navigation and Claude Code for test generation.

• Involvement in projects that utilize AI across multiple SDLC stages such as coding, testing, code review, and documentation.

• Experience in validating or correcting AI-generated outputs.

• Awareness of effective AI applications and recognition of its limitations.

• Insightful perspectives on the shortcomings of AI tools and strategies to address them.

• Advanced proficiency in oral English.
