Full Stack Engineer – Back-end Oriented

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete development of product features, covering both frontend and backend aspects.

• Incorporate leading AI coding tools (such as Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) as an integral element of your daily workflow to enhance development productivity.

• Convert product requirements into functional implementations, ensuring minimal handoff friction between frontend and backend teams.

• Serve as a full-stack "seed" within your team — advocate for full stack practices, mentor colleagues, and contribute to scaling AI-enhanced development throughout the organization.

• Actively identify efficiency obstacles in cross-team collaboration and suggest enhancements to product, design, and engineering processes.

• Participate in the entire product lifecycle — from ideation and design through to deployment and iteration.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher; a major in Computer Science or a related AI field is preferred.

• 1–5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong foundation in at least one backend programming language such as Java or Golang.

• Proficiency in Node.js and React.

• Experience managing end-to-end projects in a production environment, not limited to personal side projects.

• Knowledge of database design, data modeling, and fundamental backend concepts.

• Highly skilled with mainstream AI coding tools (like Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, or similar).

• Ability to clearly communicate requirements and constraints to AI tools; possess strong fundamentals to review, validate, and rectify AI-generated code.

• Self-motivated and boundaryless — you take initiative and do not wait for tasks to be assigned; you actively identify what needs to be accomplished.

• Possess a product and operational mindset — you can transform vague ideas into precise specifications.

• Curious observer — you take note of how other teams operate and actively propose improvements.

• Strong logical reasoning and communication abilities; enthusiastic about learning new technologies.

• If your background is in frontend development, we hope you have:

1. A strong depth in React engineering, with sound judgment on component architecture, reuse boundaries, and state management strategies.

2. Familiarity with modern frontend engineering infrastructure, including build tools, TypeScript type engineering, and automated testing.

3. A solid understanding of rendering strategies and performance systems, including critical path optimization, render frame budgeting, and performance monitoring attribution.

• If your background is in backend development, we hope you have:

1. Familiarity with high-concurrency programming, with a solid grasp of threading models, locking mechanisms, and asynchronous programming.

2. Experience with message queues (such as Kafka/RabbitMQ), along with an understanding of asynchronous decoupling and eventual consistency.

3. Knowledge of the fundamentals of distributed systems, including service discovery, circuit breaking, rate limiting, and load balancing.
