Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and develop cloud applications that are highly available and scalable from start to finish.

• Create new features and microservices within the current infrastructure.

• Establish and manage observability infrastructure for AI systems, which includes accuracy dashboards, performance monitoring, anomaly detection, and prediction-quality alerting.

• Design and uphold evaluation pipelines that assess model accuracy across different document types, edge cases, and customer environments.

• Define and monitor precision, recall, confidence thresholds, and drift indicators, converting them into actionable engineering tasks.

• Instrument services with structured logging, tracing, and metrics collection.

• Enhance and refactor services to boost performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Write clean, testable, well-documented code while engaging in code reviews.

• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams.

• Contribute to engineering practices, tooling, and architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Python and TypeScript.

• Solid experience with Docker, Git, and cloud-based development workflows.

• Familiarity with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Experience with or willingness to learn Pytest, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.

• Comfort working across both backend and frontend technologies.

• Experience with testing practices and a quality-first mindset.

• Passion for AI accuracy and observability.

• Comfortable with metrics and data analysis, including precision, recall, error rates, and confidence distributions.

• Proactive and communicative, with the ability to work independently in a remote team setting.

• A GitHub link is a beneficial addition but not mandatory.

• Bonus: experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.

• Bonus: familiarity with building evaluation pipelines, accuracy benchmarks, or production ML/AI monitoring.

• Bonus: experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, structured logging, and distributed tracing.

• Bonus: understanding of ML metrics concepts including confusion matrices, F1 scores, calibration curves, data drift detection, and A/B testing.
