Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance a React-based operational dashboard for functionalities such as login, unit visibility, geofencing, and administrative tools.

• Assist in the development and improvement of a Node.js/Express backend proxy that manages session authentication, SQL access, geospatial CRUD operations, file uploads, and service choreography.

• Maintain and upgrade legacy C#/.NET Framework services, REST APIs, SOAP (ASMX) endpoints, and internal server processes.

• Support the transition towards .NET Core and ASP.NET Core Identity.

• Identify and resolve issues across the user interface, backend APIs, databases, and real-time communication layers.

• Enhance reliability, security posture, and maintainability without disrupting ongoing operations.

• Document essential workflows, API contracts, deployment processes, and system dependencies.

• Collaborate on feature-tiering workflows that support iOS/Android subscription models linked to App Store/Play Store purchases.

• Maintain, modernize, and evolve mission-critical systems such as Voyager Insight and Atlas Server.

• Assist in modernizing authentication for GovCloud/FedRAMP readiness and scaling SignalR real-time services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Public Trust clearance is required.

• Proficient in C# with experience in ASP.NET Web API, MVC, and ASMX SOAP services on .NET Framework 4.6.x.

• Familiarity with modern .NET Core/.NET 6+ for APIs, background services, and refactoring legacy code.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript with experience in React, hooks, state management, and Node.js/Express.

• Extensive SQL Server knowledge, including performance tuning, schema analysis, safe updates, and spatial queries.

• Practical experience in authentication and security using ASP.NET Membership, session/cookie authentication, MFA/TOTP flows, and JWT management.

• Experience in maintaining REST, SOAP, event-driven, and real-time API ecosystems.

• Strong debugging and incident-response abilities across distributed systems.

• Capable of working with legacy codebases while delivering incremental modernization.

• Experience in migrating from ASP.NET Membership to ASP.NET Core Identity.

• Knowledge of identity hardening for GovCloud/FedRAMP environments.

• Familiarity with OAuth2/OIDC, claims/role-based authorization, and token lifecycles.

• Experience in scaling SignalR with Redis backplanes, messaging queues, or distributed event systems.

• Experience with distributed caching solutions such as Redis or Memcached.

• Familiarity with message queues like RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.

• Experience deploying .NET, Node.js, or hybrid systems in AWS.

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or TeamCity.

• Experience configuring IIS, Kestrel, Node servers, Windows services, DNS, SSL, and load balancers.

• Knowledge of geospatial logic, spatial indexes, and geofence calculations.

• Experience with real-time field operations, logistics, tracking, mapping, or dispatch-style systems.

• Familiarity with integrating backend systems for App Store/Play Store subscription verification.

• Ability to develop server-side feature tiers, entitlements, and product catalog selections.

• Experience facilitating web signup to mobile subscription activation onboarding processes.
