Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web-based applications and software solutions.

• Analyze business and user requirements to identify technical solutions that align with company objectives.

• Engage in the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.

• Create and develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces.

• Construct and sustain reusable UI components.

• Design, develop, and uphold back-end services, business logic, and application APIs.

• Transform business requirements, design specifications, and wireframes into functional application features.

• Develop and maintain integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms using APIs and web services.

• Create and optimize RESTful APIs and data services.

• Establish, optimize, and maintain databases, queries, and supporting application infrastructure.

• Ensure applications comply with accessibility, usability, security, and cross-browser compatibility standards.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards, security requirements, and best practices.

• Utilize source control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Troubleshoot software issues and enhance performance, reliability, and user experience.

• Monitor application performance and recommend improvements for scalability and efficiency.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Support the deployment and maintenance of applications in both cloud-based and on-premises environments.

• Participate in system upgrades, application enhancements, and technology modernization initiatives.

• Assist production applications and resolve operational issues as necessary.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, quality assurance teams, UI/UX professionals, business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party vendors.

• Engage in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, development tools, and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development, application development, or a related technology field.

• Experience in designing, developing, and supporting web-based applications.

• Proficient in developing front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks or technologies.

• Skilled in developing back-end applications using C#, .NET/.NET Core, or similar technologies.

• Experienced in developing and integrating applications using APIs, web services, and data interfaces.

• Familiarity with software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Preferred experience with mortgage technology platforms, including Encompass LOS and related integrations.

• Preferred familiarity with Git, Azure, AWS, and Agile development methodologies.

• Preferred experience with TypeScript, NoSQL databases, and event-driven messaging architectures.

• Understanding of secure coding practices, application security principles, and software development lifecycle methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

• Strong communication skills.

• Capability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
