Full Stack Engineer, AI Systems, Artificial Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive product features that encompass frontend, backend, and AI integrations.

• Create agent workflows that effectively manage planning, tool utilization, failure, and recovery across multiple stages.

• Incorporate LLMs, memory, and external tools into dependable systems.

• Design real-time AI interactions with streaming, partial results, and stringent latency requirements.

• Enhance system reliability, observability, and fallback strategies.

• Work collaboratively with ML, backend, and product teams to deliver features from concept to completion.

• Regularly iterate based on actual usage and identified failure modes.

• Take ownership of and deliver AI-native product features that extend beyond chat into persistent, goal-oriented workflows.

• Implement agent workflows that accomplish multi-step tasks across various tools and sessions.

• Minimize latency and enhance the responsiveness of AI interactions while ensuring high-quality output.

• Establish fallback and recovery solutions for LLM and tool failures in a production environment.

• Improve the success rates and reliability of AI workflows through continuous iteration, evaluation, and monitoring.

• Develop patterns and abstractions for integrating LLMs, memory, and external tools into scalable product systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Full Stack Engineering (Frontend and Backend).

• Required expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

• Strong comprehension of system design and API architecture.

• Experience with LLMs, RAG systems, or AI-driven applications.

• Capability to navigate ambiguity and make practical engineering choices.

• Strong sense of ownership; able to drive features from concept to production.

• Comfortable working in dynamic environments with shifting requirements.

• Knowledge of AI, Anthropic, API, Artificial Intelligence, Backend, Docker, Frontend, Kubernetes, Next.js, Node.js, NoSQL, OpenAI, Claude, Open Source, LLM, Python, Pytorch, RAG Systems, and SQL.
