Full Stack Developer, Node, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Engage across the entire stack, from backend database and API design to creating responsive, interactive interfaces using React.

• Take ownership of features from concept and technical design through to implementation, testing, release, and production.

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.

• Assist in maintaining a clean, efficient, and maintainable codebase as the product evolves.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional full stack experience in shipping and maintaining production web applications.

• Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript across both frontend and backend development.

• At least 3 years of backend experience with Node.js and a structured framework such as NestJS.

• Skilled in designing APIs, services, and data access layers.

• Over 3 years of relational database experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and efficient querying.

• More than 3 years of frontend experience with React, focusing on building and maintaining interactive user interfaces.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs and the communication between frontend and backend systems.

• Familiar with authentication, authorization, and security principles.

• Experience with automated testing and standard Git-based collaboration practices.

• Nice-to-have: experience with background jobs/queues, caching, performance optimization, cloud services, file storage, email/third-party integrations, Docker, Infrastructure as Code (CDK), and multi-tenant/SaaS product development.

• Capable of writing clean, maintainable code with a strong emphasis on quality.

• Proficient in assessing trade-offs related to performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Ability to question inadequate solutions and propose improved alternatives.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to seeking clarification on unclear requirements.

• Ability to work independently and manage features from initial idea to production.
