Full Stack Developer – Java, Python, JS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, launch, and sustain web-based applications that meet client goals.

• Develop and maintain web applications utilizing both front-end and back-end technologies.

• Work alongside project managers, data scientists, analysts, and other developers to deliver client solutions.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to comprehend user requirements and convert them into specifications.

• Create, implement, and test new features and functionalities.

• Integrate web applications with various applications and data systems.

• Build data visualization tools to assist clinicians and healthcare professionals in interpreting complex data and insights.

• Ensure that applications are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

• Write clean, reusable, and thoroughly documented code.

• Engage in code reviews, testing, and deployment procedures.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

• At least 4 years of experience in software development and cloud-based solutions.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, HTML/CSS, React, Spring Boot, Angular, Node.js, and/or other web technologies.

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and databases, including SQL.

• Experience in developing, maintaining, and integrating scalable RESTful API-based solutions.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

• Experience with data visualization tools like D3.js.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.

• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deploying infrastructure using GitHub Actions, CloudFormation, and/or Jenkins.

• Understanding of security and compliance regulations in healthcare, such as HIPAA and HITEC.

• Familiarity with the AWS cloud platform.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Strong attention to detail and presentation skills.
